The farm supervisor is the mainstay in organizing and managing daily activities on the farm. Supervises and directs agricultural workers, ensuring that tasks are carried out efficiently according to established standards. The supervisor is responsible for organizing the farming operations, from the farming itself to the care of the animals. Ensures the application of modern agricultural techniques and methods, and contributes to improving farm productivity. In addition, the farm supervisor deals with maintenance issues and strategic planning to improve the overall performance of the farm.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
Develop work schedules and establish procedures
Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
Maintain quality control and production records
Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
