Job Description :
Experienced Horse Barn Handlers will be responsible for feeding, turning and covering the 18 horses in the stables as well as barn maintenance activities such as cleaning stalls, sweeping and maintaining the barn in an organized manner. You will work with assistants who are scheduled to work 4 hours per day to assist with these activities. The barn supervisor is on site daily and can assist when needed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Caring for horses and providing their daily needs.
- Clean and maintain horse barns regularly.
- Providing basic medical care when needed.
- Effective interaction with horses to ensure their health and comfort.
Minimum Qualifications:
- No degree, certificate or diploma
- Experience working with horses and a good understanding of their needs.
- Ability to effectively manage and maintain a horse barn.
- Basic skills in cleaning barns and providing daily care.
